The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C launched in Malaysia. Both phones come with MediaTeks lates Helio G-series processors.
Redmi 9C
The Redmi 9C sports a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with a Dot-drop notch and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The memory can be expanded upto 512GB via a microSD card slot.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging over a Micro USB port. The Redmi 9C has triple rear cameras with a13MP main lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash. The selfie lens on the phone is a 5MP lens that has an f/2.2 aperture. The Redmi 9C features a rear-placed fingerprint scanner.

It has a single camera on the back panel, which is a 13MP lens that has an f/2.2 aperture, along with an LED Flash. The Redmi 9A does not have a fingerptint scanner.

Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A price in Malaysia
The Redmi 9C price is RM 429 (about Rs. 7,500) for the 2GB RAM/32GB version. It will be available in 3 colours: Midnight Grey, Sunrise Orange, and Twilight Blue from the end of July.
The Redmi 9A has been priced at RM 359 (about Rs. 6,300) for the 2GB RAM/32GB variant. It will be available in 3 colours: Midnight Grey, Peacock Green, and Twilight Blue from July 7th.
