The successor to Xiaomi Redmi 3 i.e. Redmi 4 may soon be launched officially, thanks to the device making it to the official TENAA listing and revealing the technical specifications of the device along with its images. Redmi 4 real images had leaked few months back along with major specifications of the device which suggested that it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 2 GB of RAM, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The device is now finally listed on TENAA in its full glory under model number 2016090. As per the listing, Redmi 4 sports a 4.96 inch (~5 inch) 720 HD TFT display, powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. We assume that the 1.4 GHz octa-core processor here is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with MIUI on top.

In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP main rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, it measures 141.3 × 69.6 × 8.9 (mm) and weighs 153 grams.

A fingerprint sensor is located at the back panel just below the main camera.
