Oppo has finally started to send Media invites for Oppo R9S launch event to be held on 19th October in Shanghai, China. The launch date of 19th October matches with the earlier rumored date that we reported sometime back. Before this official media invites, Oppo started teasing the device and even rolled out TV commercial along with billboard advertisements in china for the upcoming smartphone emphasizing on the front selfie camera and the super VOOC charging feature .
The invite also reveals that Oppo R9S features a new Sony IMX398 camera sensor. Based on earlier leaks and rumors, Oppo R9S is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. In terms of camera, it features a 16 MP front shooter for selfies with f/1.7 aperture and is backed by a 3010 mAh battery along with support for VOOC flash charge.
