Honor 8 passes TENAA: Dual cameras, Kirin 955 and 4GB RAM

The successor to Honor 7 i.e. Honor 8 is expected to be launched on 5th of July and we already have seen leaks detailing the hardware specifications of Honor 8. Today Honor 8 is spotted on Chinese certification portal TENAA and is now listed there with four different models with minor variations in the specifications. The Honor 8 Model numbers listed on TENAA are :  FRD-AL00, FRD-AL10, FRD-DL00 and FRD-TL00.

Honor 8 TENAA

As per TENAA listing, Honor 8 sports a 5.2 inch Full HD 1080p display and is powered by 2.3 GHz octa-core Kirin 955 processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU. There are three variants of RAM and storage combination listed  for Honor 8 i.e. first being the  3 GB RAM + 32 GB model, 2nd being the 4 GB RAM + 32 GB model and third being the 4 GB + 64 GB storage model. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with Honor own EMUI 4.1 on top.

It sports a a 12 MP dual rear main camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8 MP front-shooter for selfies. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.

It is backed by a decent 2900 mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone measures 145.5 × 71 × 7.45 mm and weights just 153 grams.
