We are just few weeks away from the official launch of Huawei Nexus code name Angler. Thanks to another leak at GFXbench bench-marking site, we got more details on alleged hardware specifications of Huawei Nexus 2015 or Huawei Angler.
As per the leaked benchmark details, the device comes with 5.7 inch Display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is powered by 1.9 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (4 x Cortex A57 + 4 x Cortex A53 ) processor along with Adreno 430 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. Snapdragon 810 is infamous for heating issues and unless Huawei does some fine-tuning, it may be a problem. We do hope that Huawei will do that just as One Plus did with One Plus Two.
The device will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In terms of storage, the leak suggests a 32 GB variant with no mention of support for micro SD cards. The leak also mentions the cameras as 11 MP (4032 x 3024) front camera with auto-focus, face detection, flash, HDR & touch focus and a front camera of 7 MP. You can safely assume the camera capacity as 13 MP and 8 MP if you look at the resolution mentioned against them.
The leak also mentions sensors on the device, the notable ones being the pedometer and Barometer.
