HTC is reportedly planning to release the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the HTC One M8 in August.
The 2014 flagship phone will also get Sense 7 in the update.
The news comes from HTC UK’s official Twitter account, which replied to a query from a user. HTC also revealed that August 2015 is the targeted period for rolling out the Android 5.1 update for the HTC One M8 in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
It also went on to say that the HTC One M8 Dual Sim will be updated to Lollipop 5.0.2 in August.
However, HTC remains mum on the Android 5.1 for the HTC One M7. On a side note, the company confirmed that the HTC One Mini 2 will not be updated to Android Lollipop.
