The roadmap suggested that the Zenfone and PadFone series would be updated to Android 5.0 in April 2015. Now that the given time has passed, ASUS has apologized for the delay in rolling out the update.

The company reveals that it has sent the new version for final verification and that it expects to roll out the updates soon. It has also released a new roadmap with revised dates.
