Noodlecake Games has launched a new game, called Glorkian Warrior: The Trials of Glork on Google Play.

Glorkian Warrior The Trials of Glork

The game is a collaboration between acclaimed comic book artist James Kochalka and indie game studio Pixeljam.

Glorkian Warrior is a hybrid of Platforming and Galaga-style shoot ‘em up, where you have to help the game’s namesake hero, Glork, in his mission to defend his asteroid, against an endless onslaught of alien invaders. He is accompanied by his sidekick, Backpack, who is exactly what he sounds like, “A Backpack”, oh and he can talk too.

You can select one of four available controls to play the game.

Move left or right to avoid enemy projectiles, and shoot em’ up, actually the Backpack auto fires, so just need to pickup crackers and cool powerups which arms Glork…er Backpack with various weapons and upgrades.

The game was available on Humble Bundle before its official debut on Google Play.

Glorkian Warrior is a premium game, priced at $2.99. It will be available from this page on Google Play, from March 12th. Did I mention that the game has a cool sound track and Pew Pew sounds too?
