Samsung Galaxy S5 specs leaked: Exynos 6 / Snapdragon 805 CPU, 16MP camera

As we get closer to the launch of Samsung flagship device Galaxy S5, we are hearing more leaks and rumors about it. As per Sammobile portal, they have confirmed details of some of the major hardware components of the proposed flagship device. As per their claim, Samsung Galaxy S5 will be powered by either of Exynos 6 or Qualcom Snapdragon 805 processor depending on whether the device supports LTE or not.

samsung_logoAlso, Samsung Galaxy S5 will come both in metal and plastic versions just like iPhone 5s and iPhone 5C. The pricing of both the device would be different and Sammobile predicts it to be about 800 Euros for metallic one and 650 Euros for the plastic model.

The device will be running by the latest version of Android as operating system i.e Android 4.4 kitkat.

The Galaxy S5 will come with an approximately 5.25-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560×1,440 resolution. In terms of Camera, Galaxy S5 will sport a 16MP rear camera.

  • ~5.25 inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560×1,440
  • Exynos 6 / Snapdragon 805 processor
  • 16-megapixel main camera
  • OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Plastic/metal versions

The device as per rumors will be unveiled in mid march in London.
