Google unveils Nexus 10, new 10-inch tablet starting at $399

A 10 inch tablet from Google was highly speculated after the release of the 7 inch Nexus 7 tablet to give some competition to iPad. Even though there are unlimited number of Android tablets available in the market, but still none of them was able to provide some competition to Apple’s ipad tablet. Google partnered with Samsung and has finally announced its 10 inch tablet Nexus 10.

Nexus 10 comes with high resolution 10.055″ Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display at 2560-by-1600 (300ppi) powered by Dual-core A15 processor, 2GB RAM & Mali T604 GPU with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running on it. In terms of camera, it comes with both front and back camera with 5 MP (main) & 1.9 MP (front) camera respectively. The Nexus 10 is powered by a whopping 9000 mAh Lithium polymer Battery giving it 500 hours of standby time. The device comes in two variants i.e a 16GB model and 32GB Model.

As it is powered by Android 4.2, many new features are coming along with this device some of which include Photo Sphere camera, A smarter keyboard, now with Gesture Typing, support for multiple users and  wireless display.  Full list of new features that are coming with Android 4.2 can be found here.

Pricing and Availability

In terms of Pricing, 16GB and 32GB Models will be available for $399 and $499 respectively starting 13th Nov in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.
