Huawei Honor has just launched a new mid-range smartphone Honor 9i for consumers in India. Honor 9i joins the list of smartphones which are not flagship devices, yet offer a full screen or fullview display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. In addition to the full screen 18:9 Display, Honor 9i also offers four cameras i.e. dual camera modules, both on front and rear.
Honor 9i sports 5.9-inch Full HD+ 18:9 screen with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved glass display, powered by Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) based operating system with EMUI 5.1 on top of it.
In terms of camera, it comes with a dual camera module at rear consisting of 16MP primary sensor with dual-tone LED flash & 2MP camera secondary sensor, while on the front it features another dual camera module at rear consisting of 13MP primary sensor with soft LED flash & 2MP camera secondary sensor.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 156.2 × 75.2 × 7.5 mm and weighs 164 grams. It comes with support for 4G LTE along with VoLTE.
The phone is backed by a battery of 3340mAh.
