Oppo launched two new F series smartphones i.e. Oppo F3 and Oppo F3 Plus. Both these smartphones cater to selfie obsessed young generation consumers. Oppo F3 comes with 16 MP + 8 MP dual front camera for great selfies along with 5.5-inch Full HD display, powered by Mediatek MT6750T processor & 4 GB of RAM backed by 3200 mAh battery. Whereas Oppo F3 Plus comes with a bigger 6-inch display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor along with 4 Gb of RAM, with 16 MP + 8 MP dual front camera for selfies & bigger battery of 4,000 mAh.
It appears that Oppo is planning to bring a third variant of Oppo F3 which is name as Oppo F3 Lite and appears to cash on the brand value created by F3 series. But if we go into details, it seems that Oppo F3 Lite is basically the re-branded Oppo A57 instead of a new smartphone i.e. Opp A57 will be re-branded as F3 Lite in certain countries where F3 and F3 Plus are selling well.
Oppo F3 Lite sports a 5.2-inch 720p HD display powered by 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor along with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD card and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) based operating system with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it.
In terms of camera, Oppo F3 Lite sports a 13 MP main rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, LED Flash and another 16 MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. The phone is backed by 2900 mAh battery without any support for fast charging.
