ZTE unveils Blade A2 Plus with 4 GB RAM, 5000 mAh battery in India

As expected, ZTE has just launched a new mid range smartphone ZTE Blade A2 Plus in India which comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery and 4GB RAM. Blade A2 Plus was announced in China last year in September 2016 with 3 GB & 4 GB RAM variants priced at 1499 Yuan (~$225 / Rs. 15,000)  & 1699 Yuan (~ $255 / Rs. 17,000) respectively. Company has skipped the 3 GB RAM variant for India and launched the 4 GB variant only.

ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with pixel density of 404 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB internal storage, along with support for expandable storage via microSD card and runs on Mifavor 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

In terms of camera, Blade A2 it comes with 13 MP main rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies.It is backed by a whopping 5,000 mAh battery along with support for fast charging. In terms of connectivity, it includes hybrid Dual SIM, micro USB 2.0, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack. It supports 2G/ 3G / 4G LTE along with VOLTE. In terms of dimensions, it measures 155 x 76.2 x 9.8 mm and weighs 189 grams.

It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and comes with unibody metal design.

The ZTE Blade A2 Plus is priced Rs. 11,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting February 6. In terms of color options, it will be available in Gold and Silver colors.
