The next flagship from YU named as Yunicorn is scheduled to be launched on 31st May. The launch event was earlier scheduled for 19th May 2016, but got postponed to 31st May. YU is claiming to redefine flagships with their Yunicorn launch and we would like to wait till the launch to find out on how good their claim of redefining flagships is.
YU twitter handle has started to tease the new device and one of the teasers did gave us a sneak peak into the Yunicorn. The teased video appears to depicts the actual Yunicorn & reveals that it will be a flipkart exclusive and will be available for sale on Flipkart only starting 31st May. The embedded video reveals metallic build similar to iPhone, speaker grills at the bottom, MIcro USB / USB C type port at the bottom and a home button on the front which probably also works as fingerprint sensor. It also shows the main rear camera, front camera, Volume rocker & power buttons and the YU logo at the back.
At the moment, we have no information about the technical specifications of YU Yunicorn. The only information that we are sure off is, that Cynogenmod operating system is not going to power the Yunicorn. Stay tuned at Androidpure as we will be covering the Yunicorn launch on 31st May.
