Xiaomi indicates both Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 coming soon to India

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro were officially launched in China on May 28 and rumours suggest that both these devices may come to India pretty soon as rebranded Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro. But a tweet from Manu Kumar Jain (Global VP and MD of Xiaomi India) indicates otherwise and suggests that both these devices may launch in India without getting rebranded as Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro.

The tweet showcases advertisements of Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro as the flagship killers, placed adjacent to advertisements of OnePlus 7. Manu Kumar Jain also confirms that both the devices are coming soon. He doesn’t give any indications of Poco F2 in the tweet. Xiaomi had done similar ambush advertisements with OnePlus 6T last year too when they gave Calculators to event attendees for free outside the OnePlus 6T Venue.

Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 Price?

At the moment, we have no details about the exact launch date of these flagship devices in India. But we expect that Xiaomi will announce the official launch date soon. Also, looking at the ambush marketing with OnePlus 7, we expect the pricing of these devices to be much lower than OnePlus 7 which puts it into the bracket of starting price of the order of Rs. 20,000 for the base variant and up to Rs. 30,000 for the most premium variant.
