Xiaomi is all set to announce a new edition of Redmi 1 S in China on 4th January 2015, reports Gizmochina. Xiaomi claimed in their Weibo that they will release a device on 4th January and the phone will be on sale in the same month.
As per report, it is a Dual SIM device ( both of the SIM card slots supports 4G LTE). 4G LTE Edition Redmi 1s will feature a Qualcomm’s 64 bit Snapdragon 410 supported by 1 GB RAM. In terms of display, Dual 4G LTE Edition Redmi 1s will come with 4.7 inch 720p display and 8 GB of internal storage or ROM. The smartphone will be powered by Android 4.4 kitkat based MIUI 6.0.
In terms of camera, the device sports a 2 megapixel front facing camera and 8 megapixel rear camera.
In terms of battery, the smartphone will be powered by a 2200mAh battery. The new device supports GSM, WCDMA, TD LTE, and LTE FDD networks.
