Vivo has announced a new budget friendly device called the Vivo Y12S in India. The device runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 11. It appears to be a slight upgrade over its predecessor, the Y12.
The Y12S sports a 6.51-inches LCD IPS HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The selfie lens housed in the notch is an 8MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
The phone and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It has a microSD card for additional memory. The main camera on the Vivo Y12S is a 13MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and it is accompanied by a 2MP lens that has an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash.
The Vivo Y12S has a side mounted fingerprint scanner. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that charges over a micro-USB port.
The device supports Dual SIM cards with Dual Standby, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0 among other connectivity options. The Vivo Y12s weighs 191g, and is 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.4mm in terms of dimensions. The phone has a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and an e-compass.
