Vivo V5 Plus listed on Official site ahead of launch

Vivo V5 Plus is scheduled to be launched officially on January 23rd at an event in New Delhi, India. We have already reported, Vivo V5 Plus is an upgrade over existing Vivo V5 (Read Review) and comes with an upgrade over existing 20 MP front camera of V5 by offering a dual front camera with a 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors along with moonlight flash. Alleged Renders revealing design & build of the device and even technical specifications have leaked ahead of official launch.

Even though we are still few days away from the launch, Company has listed it on its official site. The Vivo V5 Plus is listed on Vivo portal along with all the technical specifications, features and gallery of the device revealing everything. The listing matches with what we have reported till today.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with a uni-metal body and sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor along with 4 GB of RAM.  It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card and runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. In terms of camera, it comes with a 20 MP Sony IMX 376 image sensor + 8 MP dual front camera with Selfie Softlight and a 16 MP main rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture for all the three cameras. The dual front camera creates a depth-of-field effect while creating a blurred background, enhanced by Bokeh Mode algorithms for great selfies.

It is backed by a 3160 mAh battery along with Dual-Charging Engine technology for fast charging. It comes with sensors such as Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass and Gyroscope.

The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the front Home button. In terms of dimensions, it measures 152.58 x 74 x 7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams. It includes a Hi-Fi Chipset AK4376 for better sound quality. In terms of connectivity, it comes with support for 2G / 3G / 4G LTE with bands 1/3/5/7/8/40. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano) support.

At the moment, the official listing doesn’t offer any details on pricing of Vivo V5 Plus. We will know it soon when it launches officially. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
