Fans of Vector Unit, will be delighted to see one of the studios’ games is available as Amazon’s free app of the day.
Shine Runner is a game where you ride a flat bottomed fanboat through bayous while avoiding, smashing through everything in your path.The gameplay and controls are similar to Beach Buggy Blitz, except for the fact that you ride boats. You can collect timers, goodies etc during the run. There are various destructible items including gators, boats, huts.
And as you collect more items, you will be chased by cops. Fun!
What lets the game down, is the lack of free play. You get 10 turns, aka 10 runs to collect and sell as many items as you can.
The game offers various contol methods including
- Tilt Controls
- Touch controls
- Bluetooth/USB gamepad
- XPeria Play slide-out controller.
Unfortunately the version at the Amazon Appstore is an older one than in Google Play and so does not include the Google Play Services which the latest one offers.

Fans of true racing games will be disappointed, but I still think that the graphics make the game worth playing.
