The Tecno Spark 8 Pro has been launched in India. The mid-ranger has been priced affordably, and offers some good specs.
The phone is equipped with a 6.8-inches Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, and runs on Android 11. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, and assisted by a 1GHz Mali G52 GPU. The Spark 8 Pro will be available in two variants with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, with 64GB/128GB of storage, and supports up to 7GB virtual memory expansion.
The main camera set up on the Tecno Spark 8 Pro comprises a 48 megapixels sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP Portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture, an AI lens f/2.0 aperture, and a Dual LED Flash. The selfie camera on the front is an 8MP lens with a Dual LED Flash. The device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port, and supports 33W Fast Charging, which can top up the cell to 85% in 60 minutes.
Connectivity-wise, Tecno‘s latest phone is compatible with 4G LTE networks, GPS, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth, USB OTG. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device supports DTS Stereo Sound. The handset measures at 169 x 76.8 x 8.77mm.
