TCL 598 with Dual Front and Rear Cameras, 4 GB RAM listed on TENAA

Dual camera setup on smartphones is slowly becoming the trend with each manufacturer bringing out devices with dual camera setup sooner or later. The latest manufacturer to join this list is TCL which is trying to enter smartphone market by launching new devices. They recently launched TCL 562 and TCL 560 smartphone in India. A new upcoming smartphone from TCL is now listed on Chinese certification portal TENAA with the model name of TCL 598 . Looking at the specifications of the phone, we can assume it to be one of the flagship devices from TCL.

TCL DUAL CAMERA-

As per listing, TCL 598 sports  Dual camera setup for both front and main rear camera, which makes it the first smartphone to feature Dual cameras for both front and main rear camera. It sports a Dual front camera with two camera sensors of 8 MP + 5 MP and another Dual camera setup at rear with camera sensors of 13 MP + 13 MP.

Apart from the camera, TCL 598 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display IPS display and is powered by a 2.3 GHz deca-core processor which is Mediatek Helio X20 along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 128 GB  via microsd card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.

It measures 152.6 × 75.4 × 8.7 (mm)and weighs 157 grams. It is backed by a battery of 3030 mAh capacity. It will be available in Champagne gold and dark gray color options. In terms of connectivity, it comes with support for Infrared, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and VOLTE.

At the moment, we have no information on when TCL will launch it officially, but having a dual front and back camera in a smartphone is interesting. We will wait to check out , how good it turns out when it is unveiled officially. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
