The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has been launched in India, right on cue. This is the first flagship phone of 2022, from the South Korean electronics giant.
The device is essentially an affordable version of the Galaxy S21. Instead of a curved screen, the S21 FE 5G sports a flat display which is 6.4-inches Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. The screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, supports 120Hz Refresh Rate, 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display is home to an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is powered by an Exynos 2100 processor, with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage. The phone sports a 32 megapixels selfie camera with an 81-degree wide-angle and an f/2.2 aperture. The main camera set up on the rear comprises a 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera with an f/2.2 aperture, 123˚ field of view, a 12MP Wide Camera that has an f/1.8 aperture and supports Dual Pixel Autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization, an 8MP Telephoto Camera, that supports 30x Space Zoom, has an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G is backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 25W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port, and 15W Fast Wireless Charging, and Wireless PowerShare. Sensors in the phone include an Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Light Sensor, and a Proximity Sensor. In the connectivity department, the phone supports 5G and 4G LTE mobile networks, NFC, Wi-Fi, and GPS. The phone measures 74.5 x 155.7 x 7.9mm and weighs 177g. It is certified to be IP68 Water resistant.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G price in India
Samsung has priced the Galaxy S21 FE 5G at Rs. 54,999 for the 128GB version, while the 256GB model costs Rs. 58,999. The device will go sale from January 11th on Amazon, Samsung’s web store and retail channels. The handset will be available in 4 colours: Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White.
HDFC Bank card users can avail a cashback of Rs. 5,000 while purchasing the phone before January 17th.
