Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 and J7 2016 in India. We reported about these phones being listed on the company’s China website, way back in March.
The two phones come with the recently introduced Samsung S-Bike Mode NFC feature, which made its debut in the Samsung Galaxy J3, which was launched in the last week of March.
Both the J5 2016 and the J7 2016, have a metal frame, and will be available in three colours: Radiant Gold, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colour variants. The devices are quite similar in terms of specs with the J5 2016 having a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, while the J7 20126 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display, and is powered by an unspecified Exynos octa-core processor.
One oddity is that the Indian variant of the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 does not have 3GB of RAM and the full HD display, but instead a HD Super Amoled display ith 2 GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 has been priced at Rs 13990, while the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 has been priced at Rs 15990. Both phones will be sold exclusively through Flipkart from May 10th.
