A week after launching the Galaxy M14 5G, Samsung has announced the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G in Europe. Both phones support Nightography and AI capabilities, optical image stabilization (OIS) and video digital image stabilization (VDIS).
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G
The Galaxy A54 sports a 6.4-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, and Vision Booster. The mobile runs on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. Samsung has promised to support it with 4 OS upgrades (until Android 17) and 5 years of security updates. The phone is powered by an Exynos 1380 octa-core chipset built on a 5nm process. The CPU is assisted by an ARM Mali G68 GPU. The device has 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, and supports up to 1TB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.
Samsung has packed a 5000mAh battery in the smartphone, and it supports 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A54 5G is equipped with a 32 megapixels front camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera array on the handset comprises a 50MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, and Optical Image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP Ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP Macro Sensor. The device measures 158.2 x 76.7 x 8.2mm, weighs 202g, and is rated for IP67 dust and water resistance.

The Galaxy A34 5G has the same battery, IP Rating, GPU, memory, storage, and operating system as the A54 5G. The display on the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is slightly bigger at 6.6-inches. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 octa-core CPU built on a 6nm process. The selfie lens on the device is a 13MP snapper.
The main camera set up on the rear consists of a 48MP OIS lens, an 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP Macro Sensor. The phone weighs 199g and measures 161.3 x 78.1 x 8.2mm.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy A54 5G starting at €490 for the 6GB/128GB trim, while the 8GB/256GB model costs €490. The latter is a special price as it normally costs €540. The phone comes in 4 colourways: Lime, Graphite, Violet, and White.
The Galaxy A34 5G price starts at €390 for the 6GB/128GB variant, and at €409 for the the 8GB/256GB. The latter’s regular price is €460. The mobile will come in 4 colour options: Lime, Graphite, Violet, and Silver. The devices will be available in Europe and Asia later this month.
