India has almost 78 crore phones out of which about 50 crores are feature phones . JioPhone comes with 4G VoLTE support which is basic requirement for Jio network. It includes access to apps like JioCinema, JioTV, and JioMusic. JioPhone will be effectively free for customers with a small catch.
If you want to grab a JioPhone, you need to give a security deposit of Rs. 1500 which is 100% refundable after three years. This simply means that you need to spend Rs. 1500 to get the JioPhone, but you can get that money back after three years.
