Reliance Jio freebies continue to pour and are in no mood to stop. Even after moving to paid services starting April 1st this year, Jio has managed to offer freebies (Unlimited 4G data + Unlimited Voice calls) in one form or other. If you remember, when Jio moved to free to paid services on April 31st, they offered a “Summer Surprise offer” after the consumer subscribes to “Jio Prime” membership at Rs. 99.

“Summer Surprise offer” at a price of Rs. 309 + Rs. 99 (Prime membership cost) offered 1 GB/day 4G data along with unlimited Voice calls to any network for three months (28+ 28 + 28 days). They even extended this offer by offering the one more month free which resulted in the Summer Surprise offer valid for (28+ 28 + 28 + 28 days i.e. 112 days).

Based on 112 days validity, the 112 days Summer Surprise offer was about to expire today for the users i.e. on 20th July 2017 but it didn’t. If you were on Summer Surprise offer, then you will find that Reliance Jio has quietly extended the said offer for another 28 days and now the consumer still has 28 days left in the plan. After this extension, the Summer Surprise offer is now valid till 17th August 2017.

This validity extension can be seen inside the “My Jio” app. You need to just login to the My Jio app and you can see the plan is now extended for another 28 days. If you go to “My Pans” section, you can also see that Summer Surprise offer now expires on August 17, 2017 which was set to expire today on 20th July. But if you log on using the web browser on your desktop, it still shows the expiry date as July 20, 2017.

Reliance Jio has already offered new unlimited plans after Jio Dhana Dhan offer which now offer 1 GB unlimited 4G data per day (128 kbps after 1 GB) for a period of 84 days for a price of Rs. 399, whereas Rs. 309 plan offers 1 GB unlimited 4G data per day (128 kbps after 1 GB) for a period of 56 days. But if you are an old customer with  Summer Surprise offer, then you need not recharge for another 28 days.
