Poco F3 with Snapdragon 870 announced globally; it’s a rebranded Redmi K40

The Poco F3 has been announced globally, and it is a rebranded Redmi K40. Let’s find out more about the phone.

Poco F3 official price and specs

The F3 is equipped with a 6.67-inches AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 1300 nits brightness, 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate, HDR10+. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.

The selfie lens on the Poco F3 is a 20MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device’s main camera setup has quad lenses comprising a 48MP with a Sony IMX582 sensor, an f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP, 119° FOV ultra-wide angle, with an f/2.4 aperture, a 5MP telemacro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED flash.

The Poco F3 is backed by a 4520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The phone features a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, the Poco F3 does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Like its name suggests, this is phone supports 5G mobile network connectivity.

Poco F3 price

The Poco F3 price in Europe starts at 349 Euros (about Rs.30,000) for the 6GB/128GB storage version while the 8GB/256 version costs 399 Euros (about Rs. 34,000). Poco is offering an early bird pricing for the phone, which means you can get the 6GB/128GB model for 299 Euros, and the 8GB/256GB version for 349 Euros for a limited time.

The early bird pricing will be available from March 27th to April 6th. The device comes in 3 colours: Artic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue.
