Tipster Digital Chat Station says the Oppo Find N7 will pair a 2nm chipset with a 7.6-inch inner foldable display and a seamless hinge design. The interesting part is the screen size. The current Find N6 uses an 8.12-inch panel, so this would be a step down in size, not up.

None of this is official. Oppo has not commented on the Find N7 as of October 11, and the device is expected around Q1 2027, possibly March. Treat every number below as a tipster claim.
A Smaller, Wider Fold
Shrinking the inner display is the claim worth sitting with. A move from 8.12 inches down to 7.6 inches suggests Oppo is chasing a more compact device instead of a bigger canvas. A separate earlier rumour described a wide form factor with a 5.5-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch fold. That earlier claim lines up with this one on the fold-screen figure, which makes the direction look consistent across two separate leaks.
Digital Chat Station also says the engineering sample uses a Samsung panel. That applies to this prototype only. Nothing in the leak addresses Oppo’s panel sourcing for the production run, so read it narrowly.
Camera System, As Claimed
The rear array is where the leak gets specific. Gizmochina’s write-up of the same leak corroborates the list.
- Main camera: 200MP
- Ultrawide: 50MP
- Periscope telephoto: 50MP
- Multispectral sensor: 3MP, Oppo’s Danxia Color Restoration unit per Gizmochina
- Tuning: Hasselblad
A 3MP multispectral sensor is not a camera you shoot with. It samples ambient light to correct colour in the other three. That is a more useful job for a fourth slot than the depth and macro sensors that padded spec sheets for years.
Battery and Chipset
Battery capacity is rumoured at 6,500 mAh, which would be 500 mAh more than the Find N6 carries. On the silicon, Digital Chat Station only said 2nm. Gizmochina reads that as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, but that name is the outlet’s own inference and not something the tipster stated.
How Much to Believe
Two outlets are reporting the same underlying leak, which is worth something. Even so, a Q1 2027 device is far enough out that panel sizes and battery capacities genuinely change before production. The form-factor shift is the detail to watch here. Everything else can still move.
Oppo’s nearer-term news is more concrete. The Find X10 series goes global on October 21, and ColorOS 17 arrives on October 13.
