OnePlus 6T TV ad gives a sneak peak, listed as Amazon India Exclusive

After numerous rumors and leaks along with few official confirmations about upcoming OnePlus 6T, today the company officially revealed a lot in the form of a TV ad for the flagship device during the India Pakistan Cricket match featuring Amitabh Bachchan showing OnePlus 6T and revealing that the phone will be an Amazon India exclusive as always has been the case for OnePlus smartphones. Amazon India has already made the official listing of the device as coming soon page with a banner along with Oneplus 6T type C bullet earphones.

Here is the full OnePlus 6T advertisement that we have uploaded on YouTube. The advertisement or the AMazon page is yet to reveal the official launch date of the phone, though earlier rumours indicate a global launch next month i.e. on October 17. Here is another look:

OnePlus 6T is confirmed to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will have a waterdrop notch display design, also a feature “borrowed” from the OPPO R17 Pro. We have already seen the case renders which indicate only a dual camera at the rear instead of rumoured triple cameras similar to Oppo R17. We still do not know any details about the other hardware specifications of the device, though rumours indicate a 6.4″ display.

Coming to OnePlus 6 specifications, it features 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a notch having ~84% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based operating system with OxygenOS 5.1 on top. It features a dual camera module at rear consisting of 16MP Sony IMX519 primary sensor & secondary 20MP Sony IMX376K sensor while on the front there is a 16MP front-shooter with Sony IMX371 sensor for selfies & video calls. The phone is backed by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V – 4A)support.
