Rumors surrounding a minor upgrade to existing OnePlus 3 refuse to die. This new upcoming smartphone is rumored to be named as “OnePlus 3T” and is expected to come with minor refresh of hardware specifications. A new model from the company with model number OnePlus A3010 was spotted on China 3C certification approval listing indicating an imminent launch sooner or later.
The latest rumor originates on Chinese social network weibo, from a user who has decent track record of smartphone leaks. As per the rumor, Company is going to launch the its new OnePlus 3T smartphone during a launch event in London scheduled on November 14. It also suggests the possible specifications of 3T. OnePlus 3T is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 instead of Snapdragon 820 and will come in two storage variants of 64 GB and 128 GB.
There is only 6 GB RAM option available as per this rumor and no 4 GB RAM variant of Oneplus 3T will be launched, just as happens with Oneplus 3. The device is backed by a 3300 mAh battery instead of existing 3000 mAh battery marking an increase of 10% in battery size. It is expected to come with Dash charging too.
In Spite of this rumor, we would prefer to wait for more details on official teasers before we can be sure that this is happening for sure. On a side note, OnePlus 4 with snapdragon 830 is rumored to be launched in June – July 2017.
