Earlier leaks suggested a June 14 VR launch for OnePlus 3. Now we have an official confirmation of the launch date for OnePlus 3 which isn’t far from the earlier suggested date of June 14. OnePlus 3 will be launched officially on June 15 at 10:00 on June 15, at the Shenzhen University Center.
The official announcement also states that OnePlus 3 will be going on sale starting next day i.e June 16. Apart from the official announcement above, Oneplus has put a dedicated countdown page for Oneplus 3.
Thanks to many leaks (1, 2, 3) and TENAA listing, we already have a fair amount of idea of what OnePlus 3 packs in. OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by 2.15 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. In terms of RAM, two variants are expected with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. We only have seen 64 GB of internal storage in leaks, but 128 GB variant may also be launched. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based operating system.
One Plus 3 comes with 16 MP main rear camera and a 8 MP front shooter along support for full HD video capture, but without 4K video capture support. It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
