The Nothing Phone 1 has been launched in India and the UK. Here’s everything you need to know about the premium mid-range phone.
The device is equipped with a 6.55-inches AMOLED Full HD+ display that has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, supports 60Hz to 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate, 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate, HDR10+, 10-bit, 1,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio, a Peak Brightness of 1,200 nits, Haptic Touch Motors, a pixel density of 402 PPI. The screen is home to an In-display fingerprint scanner.
The Nothing Phone 1 runs on Android 12 with Nothing OS on top. It has a Glyph Interface which lights up the fancy LED lights on the rear panel. The LEDs will light up when you receive notifications and calls. The company has promised to support the device with 3 Years of Android Updates, and 4 Years of Security Patches every 2 Months.
The mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 6nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, an Adreno 642L GPU, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage. The selfie lens on the smartphone is a 16 megapixels lens with a Sony IMX471 sensor. The main camera set up on the rear consists of dual cameras with a 50MP primary lens with a Sony IMX 766 sensor, an f/1.88 aperture, 1/1.56inch sensor size, and supports Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization, a 50MP Samsung JN1 114° FOV ultra-wide angle lens, that has an f/2.2 aperture, a 1.276-inch sensor, and is capable of recording 4K videos.
The Nothing Phone 1 packs a 4,500 mAh battery, supports 33W fast charging (100% in 60 minutes) via a USB Type-C port. The device supports 15W Wireless Charging, and 5W Reverse Wireless Charging. It weighs 194g, and measures 159 x 76 x 8.3mm. The Nothing Phone 1 price in India starts at Rs. 32,999 for the 8GB/128GB trim, while the 8GB/256GB version costs Rs. 35,999. The top-end model with 12GB/256GB carries a price tag of Rs. 38,999.
Nothing is giving users a discount of Rs. 1,000 across all three models, as an introductory offer. So, the price of the 8GB/128GB model is Rs. 31,999, the 8GB/256GB version is available for Rs. 34,999, and the 12GB/256GB costs Rs. 37,999. Buyers can avail an extra Rs. 2,000 off of the device’s price by making their purchase with a HDFC Credit Card or EMI transaction. The device will go on sale from July 21st on Flipkart, but pre-order pass holders can place the order tonight. The mobile comes in 2 colours: Black and White.
