Mobiistar X1 Notch with 13MP cameras launched in India starting Rs. 8499

Mobiistar, the Vietnamese smartphone brand has just announced a new entry-level smartphone Mobiistar X1 Notch with price starting at Rs. 8499. The phone comes with a notch as evident from the name itself and includes 13MP camera both at front and rear apart from the shiny look of the glass panel which is rare in this price segment. The rear panel comes with a gradient dual colour glass panel and will be available in three colours – Gradient Shine, Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.

In terms of hardware, Mobiistar X1 Notch sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1498 x 720 pixel)  IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass, powered by MediaTek Helio A22 processor along with 2GB / 3GB of RAM. It comes 16GB / 32GB and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based operating system.

In terms of camera, it sports a 13.0MP main rear camera with AI Scene Detection, PDAFAuto Focus, Led flash, 7 level Face Beauty Mode while on the front there is another 13.0MP camera with AI Face Beauty & Bokeh Effect. It includes a dedicated MicroSD card slot in addition to dual sim card slots. Other features include dual SIM VoLTE support, facial unlock and fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3,020mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, it measures 145.78×70.8×8.7 mm and weighs 161 gms.

Mobiistar X1 Notch will be available in two variants i.e. 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM priced at INR 8,499 and INR 9,499 respectively. The phone will be available through offline retail channels. Mobiistar claims to have got 500 distributors on board with a retail presence of 32,000 and 1000 service centers already in place across the country.
