Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus listed on TENAA, Official Press render surface

Meizu is set to announce two flagship devices Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus in China, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor on August 08, 2018. Thanks to earlier leaks, we know that the upcoming phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor instead of the conventional fingerprint sensor. As there are two variants of the device i.e. the standard and Plus variant, the standard variant may come with the toned down hardware compared with the Plus variant.

Both these devices are now listed on the Chinese certification site TENAA revealing the Render image of the devices along with partial details about the hardware specifications. TENAA lists the standard variant model as M882Q certified a few days ago. The listing reveals that Meizu 16 comes with a 6.0-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 probably and is backed by a battery of 2950mAh capacity. In terms of dimensions, it measures 150.5 x 73.2 x 7.3 mm.

Similarly, the TENAA listing reveals that Meizu 16 Plus variant model as M892Q which comes with a 6.5-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 probably and is backed by a battery of 3570mAh capacity. In terms of dimensions, it measures 160.4 x 78.2 x 7.3 mm.

The listings are yet to reveal the detailed hardware specifications. We will update the post when it goes live.

Apart from these TENAA images, few official Press renders of Meizu 16 have also surfaced thanks to the Company Vice president who released the official renders on his Weibo account. Have a look at these official press renders below which matches with the TENAA images above and reveal a dual camera module at the rear. At the moment, it is not clear whether the third circle at rear represents the LED flash or fingerprint sensor? The earlier leaks though suggest an in-display fingerprint sensor at the front.
