Letv which recently re-branded itself to Leco, has just launched its Le Max for Indian smartphone market, marking it’s entry into India. Le Max

The Letv Le Max sports a 6.33-inch 2K display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels,464 PPI, Coring Gorilla Glass 3, and a 80.3% screen to body ratio.

The phablet is powered by an Octa-Core (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 2.0 GHz )  Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and an internal storage of 32 GB / 64GB / 128GB.

LeEco says that it has resolved heating issues related to the Snapdragon 810 SoC, and that it managed to score 83851 on AnTuTu Benchmark.  The Le Max runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) based eUI (echo UI) operating system.

In terms of photography, it sports a 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash with Sony IMX230 Sensor, OIS, f/2.0 aperture, HDR, PDAF and a 4 MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV4688 sensor & 81.6-degree wide-angle lens, and an f/2.0 aperture. The selfie lens happens to be the same as the rear camera on the HTC One M7, M8 devices.

The Le Max comes with Dual SIM support and is ~9 mm thick.,  has a full metal unibody design and weighs 204 g, which is on higher side for a smartphone, but considering the big size of the device it is expected. It also has a fingerprint sensor, placed on the rear of the device.

The device is powered by a 3400 mAh battery.

LeEco stunned India, by launching a third phone, the Le Max Sapphire, at today’s event in Gurgaon. The phone is same as the Le Max, but comes with a non-scratchable Sapphire Crystal Display, and has 128GB internal storage.
