iQOO Z11 and iQOO Buds Launch in India on 20 August

iQOO has set 20 August 2026 as the India launch date for the iQOO Z11, and the company will introduce its iQOO Buds true wireless earphones on the same day. Both products are being teased on Amazon India, which is where they will be sold once announced; the Z11 will also be available through iQOO’s own online store.

iQOO Z11 India launch: what the teasers confirm

The teaser images show the Z11 in a light green finish with slim bezels and a pill-shaped cutout at the top of the display holding the selfie camera, and a dual rear camera arrangement encircled by a ring-shaped LED light. iQOO is leading its pitch with software rather than silicon this time — the phone is being promoted under a “Faster, Smarter with AI” tagline, with a transcription feature that records a lecture or meeting and generates summarised notes, alongside note-taking, document and file-management tools.

What the teasers do not confirm is the part buyers care about most. iQOO has not published the chipset, the display specification, the battery capacity or a single price. Figures circulating ahead of the launch put the Z11 somewhere under ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 depending on which report you read, which is a wide enough spread to be worth ignoring until 20 August. For reference, the cheaper iQOO Z11 Lite started at ₹19,499 in July.

iQOO Buds: what iQOO has shown so far

The iQOO Buds are the second half of the 20 August event and, like the phone, will be sold on Amazon India. iQOO is positioning them for music and gaming, but it has not yet disclosed driver size, battery life, active noise cancellation, latency figures or price — so far the teaser is a design tease and a date, nothing more.

That is the honest summary of this announcement: it is a confirmed date and a look at two products, not a spec sheet. A phone marketed on AI features rather than hardware is worth watching for where the processing actually happens — on-device transcription and summarisation is the kind of feature that quietly becomes a cloud service with an account attached, and iQOO has not said which side of that line the Z11 falls on. We will have the full specifications and pricing when the phones are announced on 20 August.
