iQOO is all set to bring its latest flagship phones to India. The iQOO Z9 launch will make it the first device in the Country with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The phones were recently launched in China, so here’s a brief overview about their features. The iQOO 9 Pro sports a 6.78-inches FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 1500 Nits Brightness, and In-display Fingerprint Reader. The Pro version of the device has a similar-sized curved AMOLED display.
The devices run on OriginOS 12 based on Android 12, and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core chipset with an Adreno 730 GPU, Memory: 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handsets support Dual SIM with 5G and 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5.1GHz/5.8GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS,GLONASS,GALILEO, BDS, QZSS.
The main camera setup on the iQOO 9 comprises a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5, f/1.75 aperture lens with optical image stabilization, a 13MP 120° Wide-angle lens, with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP Telephoto lens that supports 2x Optical Zoom, and an LED Flash. The iQOO 9 Pro has the same main camera and telephoto lens, but the Ultra-wide angle sensor is a 50MP 150° f/2.3 lens. The selfie lens on both phones is a 16MP f/2.45 aperture camera.
Both devices in the iQOO 9 series are backed by a 4700mAh battery and support 120W Fast Charging (0 to 100% in 19 minutes) over a USB Type-C port, and 50W Fast Wireless Charging.
