Huawei Mate 10 Retail Box, Handson images leak ahead of the official launch

Huawei is set to officially announce Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro devices today, yet the rumour mills are in no mood to stop. Just a few hours ahead of the official launch, numerous real-life images of Huawei Mate 10 along with the Retail box and hands-on images have leaked on the Chinese social network Weibo.

One of the images also reveals the “ABout Phone” screen which confirms that Huawei Mat 10 is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 970 processor (which the company has already confirmed in teasers) along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage out of which approximately 47 GB is available to end user.

The image doesn’t reveal the Android operating system version, though we can see the security patches until last month. It also reveals the screen resolution of the device i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels which is the Full HD display, though rumours and leaks suggest that a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Looking at the current resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (if true), Mate 10 may feature the conventional display instead of the rumoured 18:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Based on earlier leaks and rumours, Mate 10 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch display and comes with a 20MP+23MP dual rear camera module with Leica branding. The phone is expected to be backed by 4,000mAh battery. In terms of variants, three or four variants may be announced for the Mate 10 series.

Whereas Huawei Mate 10 Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.0-inch “EntireView” QHD (1440 x 2880 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio powered by Huawei Kirin 970 processor along with different variations of RAM and Storage. The Mate 10 Pro is also rumoured to come in four configurations i.e. 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/256GB storage, and 8GB RAM/256GB storage.
