Honor Magic 2 Antutu Benchmark confirms specifications ahead of official launch

Honor Magic 2 is set to officially launch on October 31 and we are just two days away from the official launch. We have already seen the official press renders ofHonor Magic 2 exclusively at Androidpure that reveal all the design details including the colour options and confirm three rear cameras aligned vertically with LED flash on top while there is no rear fingerprint sensor confirming the in-display fingerprint sensor.

Today, Antutu Benchmark scores of Honor Magic 2 has surfaced which confirm the major hardware specifications that we have already seen in official TENAA listing and also reveal how good or bad the Huawei Kirin 980 performs. Honestly, the Antutu score for Huawei Kirin 980 may disappoint many as it is much lower than what we have seen for devices powered by Snapdragon 845 such as upcoming OnePlus 6T. The Antutu benchmark for Honor Magic 2 is 248K+ which is less compared to OnePlus 6T.

The Antutu Benchmark score confirms that Honor Magic 2 sports a Full HD+ display and is powered by Kirin 980 processor along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 9 (Pie) based operating system. The model number of the phone is TNY-AL00.

Honor Magic 2 is already listed on Chinese certification agency TENAA with all the hardware specifications. Based on that listing, Honor Magic 2 features an In-display fingerprint sensor placed in the 6.39-inch AMOLED display that supports a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, having an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone has no notch, thanks to the slider mechanism design which reveals the selfie camera.

That’s actually selfie cameras because the Honor Magic 2 tech specs list three front cameras consisting of 16MP + 2MP + 2MP lenses. It is possible that the 2 lenses are used for the 3D Face Unlock ToF (time-of-flight cameras), according to a leaker.
