Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max launched in China starting at 1399 Yuan

As expected, Huawei sub-brand Honor has just announced two new mid-range smartphones in China i.e. Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. Out of these two smartphones, Honor 8X is more powerful in terms of hardware specifications but comes with a smaller screen and battery, while the Honor 8X Max is less powerful but comes with bigger display and battery.

While Honor 8X features a small iPhone X kind of notch, Honor 8X Max features a teardrop notch similar to Oppo F9 Pro. Both the devices come in two variants of RAM i.e. 4GB and 6GB while the storage options 64GB & 128GB. They include a dual camera module at the rear and run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based operating system with EMUI 8.2 on top. Other hardware specifications vary a bit with each other but are priced aggressively as detailed at the end of the post.

Pricing and Availability Details

All the variants of both smartphones will go on sale in China on September 11, except the 6GB RAM variant of Honor 8X Max which will go on sale in October.
