Honor 6X with Kirin 655, Dual Rear Camera launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999

As expected, Huawei Honor has launched the mid range Honor 6X smartphone with dual camera setup, in India.  Honor 6X was announced few months back in China at a price starting at 999 Yuan (~ Rs. 10,000) for the 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage variant. The company has launched two variants of the device i.e. 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant.


Honor 6X comes with unimetal body and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display,powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 655 processor  along with 3 GB / 4 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.

In terms of camera, it comes with dual rear camera setup at back with camera sensors of 12 MP & 2 MP, along with LED Flash, PDAF (Phase Detect Auto Focus) and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back.

Honor 6X is backed by a 3340 mAh battery. IN terms of color options, it will be available in Glacier Silver (3GB), Rose Gold (3GB), Ice Silver (4GB), Pink Gold (4GB) and Platinum Gold (3GB and 4GB).

It is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India. The registrations for sale starts today and the first sale will happen on February 2.
