Samsung has officially announced the date for its next unpacked event i.e Unpacked 5, to be held on February 24 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The official invites are already sent ot the press and you can have a look at the official invite below which they released on twitter.
Even though last year Samsung used a separate event for unveiling of Galaxy S4 instead of unveiling it at the World Mobile Congress, this year we may see the opposite.The event is named as “Unpacked 5” and you can guess that with 5 being in the name of the event itself, Samsung most probably will be unveiling its next flagship device i.e Samsung Galaxy S5.
Galaxy S5 is expected to come with bigger screen, an improved hardware specs, better camera and biometric features such as iris recognition or fingerprint scanner.
The invite though mentions that this is just the Episode 1 of “Samsung Unpacked 2014” which means that we may expect another event soon in which Samsung may announce more devices like the next iteration of Galaxy Gear. We will keep you updated as and when we hear more about it.
