Samsung announces One UI 2.0 Beta Program with Android 10 for Galaxy S10

Want the Android 10 Update for Galaxy S10? You can try it now by enrolling in to the One UI 2.0 Beta Program that Samsung has announced.

What’s new in One UI 2.0 Beta

The interface has been redesigned to be clean and minimalistic. Samsung says One UI 2.0 has minimized pop-ups, simpler button arrangements and embedded loading indicators to allow users on their current activity. Take a look at the screenshot which shows how the notification takes very little space.

One UI 2.0 offers a comfortable visual experience by adjusting the lockscreen clock and notification colour and format as seen in the screenshot. The new enhanced Dark Mode adjusts the brightness of media, texts and colours. This also helps with the battery life.

The screenshot shows warmer colours on the home-screen that are more eye-friendly.

Device Care has new tools to manage your digital wellbeing. You can now pause apps in Focus Mode for a distraction free experience.

What's new in One UI 2.0 - Device Care

The company says that the One UI 2.0 Beta Program is only available for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G. You’ll need to sign up for the beta from the Samsung Members app on your device.

If you’d rather install the stable One UI 2.0 Update, you may have to wait a few months before the company releases it to the public.
