Micromax based YU is rolling out the Cyanogen 12.1 update to YUREKA and YUREKA Plus users. This official roll out of Cyanogen 12.1 update precedes three beta builds and final positive feedback from its beta testers. This update brings Cyanogen OS version 12.1 with software version: YOG4PAS3JM, to the YU devices and based on Android 5.1.1 lollipop.
This update bring the following features:
- Redesigned Launcher where the App Drawer and Folders are now redesigned for one-handed use.
- Smarter Screen with LiveDisplay now can intelligently adjusts the screen based on environmental conditions.
- Calendar Together with Email: It comes with the latest Boxer email app with option to schedule appointments.
- Cyanogen Browser: The new Cyanogen browser which claims to deliver search results and loads web sites faster & more securely than leading browsers.
- Fresh AudioFX: The user interface is updated for consistency across all devices.
- More Playback support: Substantially increased support of codecs for video and audio playback.
- performance enhancements and thermal control
As it happens with any other smartphone update, it will roll out in phases over the coming two weeks and every user will get the OTA update notification for the same soon.
