Even though ASUS entered smartphone market quite late, it has managed to launch some great phones at affordable prices. The latest smartphone that will be hitting Indian market later this month is ASUS ZenFone Zoom which is first ever modern smartphone to feature a camera with 3x optical zoom (If you are ready to forget Nokia N93 which also came with 3x optical zoom and don’t put in the category of modern smartphones). It was unveiled in last year’s CES.

ASUS Zenfone Zoom

ZenFone Zoom comes with 10-element HOYA lens arrangement and up to 12x total magnification along with optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-LED Real Tone flash and 0.03 seconds laser auto-focus. The camera’s aperture ranges from f/2.7 to f/4.8. Apart from the main camera, there is a 5 MP camera for selfies.

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with ASUS own ZenUI on top of it.
