The ASUS Zenfone 9 launch date has been confirmed by the company. The upcoming flagship mobile will be announced on July 28th globally.
The brand’s website shows off the design of the smartphone’s front panel. Thanks to a recent leak, we knew what the rear panel looks like too. The handset sports a 5.9-inches AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Zenfone 9 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box. The device will pack a 4,300 mAh battery which charges via a USB Type-C port. The premium phone will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, and has stereo speakers.
One unique feature in the ASUS Zenfone 9 is the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it also supports scrolling via Zen Touch. The smartphone is equipped with a 50 megapixels Sony IMX 766 sensor with a 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer for Optical Image Stabilization. The device is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
