The ASUS Zenfone 6 has been officially announced today. The device is the world’s first phone with a motorized flip camera, in fact there are Dual Flip cameras on the phone.
The optics department of the Zenfone 6 consists of a 48MP primary camera with a Sony IMX 586 sensor, 1.6µm Pixel Size, Phase detect auto-focus, Laser auto-focus and a 13MP 125° Ultra-Wide angle lens, with an LED Flash, and supports EIS, and 4K video recording at 60fps.
The Zenfone 6 is equipped with a notch-less 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 92% screen to body ratio, 600 nits brightness, 100% DCI P3 Color Gamut and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The phone has a Smart Key, which you can press once to bring up the Google Assistant, or twice for Personal Updates, or press and hold to talk to the Google Assistant. The device has a rear facing fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers.
The ASUS Zenfone 6 runs on Android 9 Pie with Zen UI which offers a Stock like experience. The company has promised 2 major Android OS updates, which includes Android Q and Android R. The device is part of the Android Q Beta program like its successor, the Zenfone 5Z.
The Zenfone 6 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor clocked at 2.84GHz with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The phone will be available in 3 storage variants with 64GB/128GB/256GB options, and a dedicated microSD card slot which is part of a triple card system. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.

The ASUS Zenfone 6 price starts at €499 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant. The 6GB/128GB model will retail for €559 while the 8GB/256GB version will cost €599.
