Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro passes TENAA, but suggest 12 MP + 5 MP dual front camera

Just two days back, we reported that Asus accidentally revealed the upcoming Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro hardware specifications and render images by listing it on Asus eShop ( pulled down later). Thanks to that accidental listing, we know almost everything about ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro including the proposed price.

Today, we have another official listing of ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro in the form of its appearance on Chinese certification agency portal TENAA which reveals the hardware specifications and the render images of the device. The hardware specifications listed by TENAA matches exactly with the earlier Asus eShop listing, except one critical difference. TENAA lists the device with a model number ASUS_Z01MDA . The Asus eShop listing indicated that ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro comes with dual front cameras consisting of 24MP + 5MP camera sensors and another 16 MP main rear camera, but the TENAA listing suggests that it comes with a 12 MP + 5 MP dual front camera instead of 24 Mp + 5 MP dual front camera. TENAA listing indicates same 16 MP main rear camera as suggested by Asus eShop listing.

Apart from the difference in terms of camera, TENAA listing suggests that ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p AMOLED display and is powered by 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. In terms of RAM and ROM combinations, TENAA lists out two RAM variations i.e. 3 GB & 4 GB while three variations in terms of internal storage i.e. 32 GB , 64 GB & 128 GB along with support for expandable storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 154.02 × 74.83 × 7 (mm) and weighs 145 grams. The phone is backed by a 2900 mAh battery and comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE. It will be available in three colour variants i.e. Red, Gold and Black.
