Sony has announced that it is rolling out the Android 5.1 Lollipop Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 Series.
The devices which are being updated to the latest iteration of Android are:
- Xperia Z3
- Xperia Z3 Compact
- Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
- Xperia Z2
- Xperia Z2 Tablet
Sony says that the update brings several new features including, new customisation options for volume profiles, new LinkedIn integration, camera with fast and better Superior Auto Mode focus, Enhanced enterprise support and SmartWear integration for taking selfies with the Sony SmartWatch 3.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop update will be rolled out to the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra in a few weeks. And will also be rolled to the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3, followed by the Xperia Z Series and the Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua, in that order.
