If you own a Android smartphone, here is some good news for you. Xolo has just announced the availability of Android 4.4 Kitkat update for Xolo Q1010i on their Facebook page. Xolo Q1010i was launched with Android 4.2 Jelly bean as its operating system and Xolo did promised a guaranteed update to Android 4.4 kitkat along the launch of the device and now they have lived upto that guaranteed Android 4.4 kitkat update to XOLO Q1010i.

Xolo-Q1010i1 The only issue that we at Androidpure though noticed irrespective of what the update will bring, is that the update is not an OTA update. You need to download the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat update zip file (~300 MB) from the XOLO portal and then you need to copy that file to your device. After that you need to use the XOLO care app for the upgrade process. Even though its not complicated, it may scare avaerage users from trying the upgrade.
